What a nice silhouette with the contrasting sky. This is one plant I must add to my garden as it is most pretty.

It’s an amazing plant, it started so small and now it’s a regular giant in the garden. I should get a fair amount of seeds, when I do I’ll post on the giveaway.

Thanks for posting the photo of the fennel plant. Just wanted to say that fennel has a whole list of health benefits – you’ll find them in most Indian restaurants (at least in Japan) at the counter when you settle your bill. You take a handful and pop them in your mouth as you leave the restaurant. See here for details of health benefits: http://www.liveandfeel.com/medicinalplants/fennel.html
I grow fennel in my garden too. Don’t know how they are faring – I’m in India now.

I didn’t not know about the health benefits, but I do like the sweet taste. The fennel plant is about shoulder height at the tallest, I didn’t know they got that big! Thanks for stopping by, I’m going to check the link right now!

Pretty! My little Italian grandmother used to call this “fenook”

MMM, fenook! I must find some recipes, I’m saving this one for seed, but I’d love to learn how to cook the bulb. The seeds are also delicious, one of my favorite things about fake sausages.
